
How many mods is "a lot"? If they're showing up in-game (and not crashing?) it sounds like it's working, but depending on the number (or specific mods, maybe, especially lots of graphics- or computation-heavy ones?) they might simply be slowing the game down from sheer numbers.If you're a gamer, chances are you're familiar with the concept of mods. Just to note, I haven't tried modding SV on my Deck myself, so this is just a general answer, but I wouldn't think the method of getting them on your Deck would make a difference. Is this due to another issue or because I didn't download the mods directly from nexus as you did?Not a dumb question.

Making a new character and starting a new game takes 5+ min. When running the game the load times are slow but the mods are showing up. I then put them in my mods folder in my game. Is it possible to transfer those over without any issues? I used winpinator to transfer the mods over to my steam deck.

Adjust where it says SKIP_TERMINAL=false to SKIP_TERMINAL=true and save. In your Stardew installed folder, look for the file named "StardewValley" (with no extension) and open it up. Do this by installing any text editor in the Discover Software Centre.
